Extreme Makeover: Home Edition

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition has been working away this week in a downtown neighborhood just a mile or so from my house. I was lucky enough to be able to document some of the action. I’ve always enjoyed this show, but now I’ve got such a greater respect for what they’re all about after experiencing it for myself. Hundreds of volunteers have worked to beautify the surrounding neighborhood by planting hundreds and hundreds of trees and they’ve even been repairing surrounding homes. It’s amazing to see a community come together and help meet the needs of complete strangers. Very cool experience… hope you enjoy these few images :o)
