“There is a vitality, a life force, a quickening that is translated through you into action,
and there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique, and if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium; and be lost.
The world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is, not how it compares with other expression.
It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open. You do not even have to believe in yourself or your work.
You have to keep open and aware directly to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open. No artist is pleased.
There is no satisfaction whatever at any time. There is on a queer, divine dissatisfaction,
a blessed unrest that keeps us marching and makes us more alive than the others.”
— Martha Graham

I crave creativity–I NEED to create. I’m constantly devouring magazines, blogs, and all types of art and design to get my visual fix. I’ve found the need to create a place
that holds my daily inspirations. And so, here is REVELMENT, a handpicked medley of my inspirations, musings, obsessions, and things that make my heart smile.
I hope you drop by sometime.

1/23/09 – indianapolis, in
this past friday i was overjoyed to have some incredible talent in my house. if you know me at all, you know music is very high up on my passions list :o) i don’t play a single instrument, but i absolutely love all different types… and i especially love up and coming bands/musicians. so anyways, we put on this event to raise money and awareness for the pour house of indianapolis. this organizations is pretty awesome really. they not only strive to meet the needs of the homeless of the greater indianapolis area, but they also build relationships with them. true community. it’s beautiful really. please look into this organization and find out how you can help their cause.
the nothing-short-of-amazing talent that filled our house for the evening included, the incredibly talented brandon whyde, and also chris piazza & tyler chance , dave campbell of lovely houses, and neil kjeldsen. please check them out and support indy’s impressive local musicians. :)

my dog, milo… modeling it up for an upcoming project with wiley publishing.
he’s pretty cute when he’s not getting into the garbage or peeing on the carpet… :o)
