i first met up with local singer/songwriter, dean phelps, a few months back when he contacted me about doing some photography for his upcoming album. we finally figured out a date and were blessed with some perfect weather for the shoot. his style is a laid back mixture of acoustic, folk, gospel, and americana. to learn more about dean, his music, and his upcoming album, check out his website. i’ll leave you with a handful of my favorite images from today :o)

- Megan I just met with Dean today - I went to college with him and hadn't seen him in close to 30 years. I had kept a cassette recording in which Dean had taped 22 songs on in my dorm room as a young 19-year old. Last year I found him on itunes and contacted him thru his website. Since then he has remixed the cassette tape on a CD and said that it inspired him to record his new CD. He had referred me to your web site to see the pictures you did for his cover and I just wanted to say how great these were - you really captured his spirit! ThanksMay 4, 2008 - 1:04 am
